The workplace is an easy-to-use collaboration platform, a lot like Facebook, but built for the world of work. This private social community is where we share best practices, keep up on company news and events, share referrals, and more.
The best way to understand Workplace and Workplace Chat is that they are identical to Facebook and Facebook Chat – they are built on the same platform however Workplace is private and only for eXp Realty agents.
Getting Started
To get started, visit Workplace on your desktop computer (Mac or PC) and install the apps on your phone/tablet. Log in using your same eXp Passport login credentials you use for other eXp sites!
Click to confirm your profile on Workplace, and read eXp Realty Workplace 101 and Workplace Guidelines.
- Complete your Workplace profile (add your photo, local area, and contact information), allowing other agents to see your profile and learn about you and be able to contact you. (Good source of referrals.)
- Join your local Provincial or State Group (search the Groups section to find them)
- Join the eXp Canada Group if you are in Canada.
- Join other groups that might interest you.
- You should be going into Workplace at least once a day, even just for 5 or 10 minutes and AT LEAST see what’s new in eXp Realty Announcements, both company wide and regional.
- This is where you will have the most direct access to our Provincial Broker.
IMPORTANT!!! You will quickly become overrun with NOTIFICATIONS from Workplace and Work Chat. While this is THE BEST TOOL to communicate with agents and find information on things at eXp, it is very important to read this guide on how to manage your notifications in Workplace!
