We offer every agent the unique opportunity to become a shareholder in their own company and celebrate the company’s financial success. All agents can earn equity awards for various achievements such as closing their first transaction or enrolling to be paid a small percentage of their earned commissions in stock at a discounted rate.
Two Ways to Earn Stock Awards (subject to vesting requirements):
- Equity Awards
- For first transaction closed each year (receive $200 worth of stock)
- For capping (receive $400 worth of stock)
- When an agent you sponsor closes their first transaction (receive $400 worth of stock)

- ICON Agent Award
- Up to $16,000 in stock upon the achievement of certain production and cultural goals within your anniversary year

Editor’s Note: All awarded stock with eXp has a vesting period of 3 years – meaning you must remain licensed with the company for 3 years before cashing in your awards. This is to protect the share values and to provide an incentive to agents to remain with the company.
Two Ways to Quickly Acquire Shares:
- Agent Equity Program
- Enroll to be paid 5% of every transaction commission with stock issued at a 20% discount.
- To opt in/out of the program, visit the online form.
- To transfer your shares, visit Steps to Transfer Your Shares.
- Purchase EXPI shares in the open market
- Unlike the equity awards, these shares can be fully vested immediately (no holding period).
