2. Prepare Your Listing(s) for Transfer
In order to easily transfer your listings which can only occur once your license is transferred, there are some preparations you should do in advance.
3. Start the Onboarding Process
Once you complete the initial application and submit it, you will receive a call from the Managing Broker in your Province/State. The Managing Broker will help you with any questions you have about joining eXp and you can always reach out to your Sponsor with additional questions.
The next step is you will be sent an Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) to initiate the Onboarding Process and begin your transfer to eXp Realty. It is best NOT to contact your existing Brokerage until this step is complete.
This process can be done as quickly as a couple of days and during this time it is very important to check your email regularly to ensure you aren’t missing any emails. Check your email junk folders regularly too!
4. Transfer Your License
Your license will have to be transferred from your current brokerage to eXp. This article will have the resources you need to go through the transfer process for your board.
